My galaxy nails are usually just a ton of colors mashed together, but this time I kept it to the purples and pinks.

Some simple French tips that I wore for graduation. Now you know how behind I am on posting. I couldn't use a clear base since my nails were still pretty yellowed and discolored. Also, I haven't been as motivated to paint my nails and get on my nail-related social media recently, so sorry for the lack of posts. Hopefully I'll get back into it soon! A pastel twist on watermelon nails. Hopefully I'll get to do a brighter version as well before the summer ends. I graduated today! I didn't wear this today because of a certain jumbo-tron situation, but the nails I wore on the day of will be up at some point. Congrats to the class of 2015. This started as a fail, so I just kept piling on the paint until I was kind of satisfied. I have to say, I like it! Aren't these absolutely adorable? A complete recreation of @nailstorming's design from Instagram. The name of this polish is Torque. It's beautiful, but let's be honest, I'm a nerd, I bought it 90% for the name. I recently finished the Breaking Bad series, some nails featuring some crystal meth and the Breaking Bad title screen. I couldn't get my hands on any of Heisenberg's blue meth (or any meth for that matter), so I had to settle for salt over blue polish. Butterflies aren't really my thing (I dislike all insects and bugs without discrimination) but their wings are pretty so... I went with it. Colorful and freehanded stripes. (Don't ask why I didn't use striping tape. These took forever.) Also there are some interesting hand poses for this design because I messed up my pointer finger and I decided to hide it rather than fix it, haha. Here's too laziness. Extra bright and summery since I have been using black polish too much for my own good recently. Time to get back into the spring/summer spirit. These were my prom nails! I know they aren't very prom-ish (more edgy than girly) but I like them! You know I love me some floral prints. This is the solo shot of the design I did for a spring floral collab on Instagram with some other lovely ladies. (If you want to see the collab post, it's on the blogging tab of this website.) Such a fancy combo. I was really not impressed with the base color; it took like a million coats to be opaque, which is super disappointing because it is such a gorgeous color. Well, we'll just have to focus on the glitter! |
